Women helping women.

When a consignor's contract ends with unsold clothing, handbags, or jewelry that she does not want returned, Curvalicious Boutique donates these items on her behalf.  We currently have two partnerships with wonderful service organizations that work hard to help improve the lives of people in our community.

The Wear 2 Start (W2S) Society is a non-profit organization and registered charity that reduces barriers for women in need. W2S helps women who have completed a job training program make their best impressions in job interviews and the workplace by providing them with a wardrobe and more! Check out their website and social media to gain a better understanding of the impact W2S has had assisting thousands of local women gain confidence and increase their chances of employment through a more polished appearance.

The Victoria Women in Need Community Cooperative, or WIN as it is fondly known, supports women along their journey from crisis, financial self-sufficiency, and wellness. WIN sells donated goods through their four resale stores. The revenue generated from the stores, as well as financial donations, covers the entire cost of running their non-profit cooperative and funds their empowerment programs for women.

Curvalicious Boutique is grateful to be a partner and contributor to both of these community organizations.

Curvalicious is also exploring ways in which to become a supporter of The Cridge Centre for the Family. In September 2018, store owner, Angela and her daughter Grace participated in the fundraiser Ride for Refuge. This is a family friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable, and exploited people. Funds raised from Curvalicious customers and friends went to The Cridge which runs a Transition House for Women, Childcare Services, Young Parent Outreach Program and more!  The majority of their services are provided to women and children who are in need and in a vulnerable time of their lives. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
