How To Consign


We are so pleased when you entrust your lovely clothing and accessories to us. Based on the local market, we do our best to ensure you receive the highest amount for your pieces by accepting items our experience shows us will sell and by pricing according to brand, style, condition, size, and demand.


Because of the volume of consignment we receive and our limited space for storage, we ask that you call ahead before you come to the store. We require clothing be brought in on hangers (we replace yours with ours while you wait), clean (freshly laundered even if they went into your closet clean), no pet hair or smells, free of stains and defects. Please also refrain from using strong smelling fabric softeners and detergents. Because of the time it takes to steam and prep clothes for the sales floor, we do not accept items brought to us in bags, suitcases, laundry baskets or boxes. Our goal is to offer quality, affordable clothing that is ready to be worn right out of the store!


We accept up to 25 seasonal pieces of clothing at a time (you can come more than once) in sizes 12/Large and up. Between our new inventory and consigned items, we typically process between 50 and 100 pieces each day.


Consignors accumulate credit as follows: 40% of the sale price of articles sold; formal wear consignors and some higher end accessories and clothing may accumulate up to 50%. You can use your accumulated credit to shop in the store (calculated at the rates quoted above) AND you can be paid out by cheque at the end of your contract term (calculated at a rate of 30% of the sale prices).
